  20.     The annex to v.34 (it won't be called "v.34+", it'll still be
  21. plain old v.34, but with an annex attached to it) has not yet been
  22. finalized by the ITU.  The chances of any of the technical aspects of the
  23. spec changing are very slim, so basically it is as much of a standard as
  24. it will ever be (ITU-T only publishes s recommendations.. companies are
  25. free to ignore these recommendations in any way they see fit... actually,
  26. some companies have become a bit imfamous for doing so :> ).
